Hi, my name is Margi and I am 28 years old I reside in Mobile Alabama and have been a student of music for 7 years. My musical influences include Jazz, Classical, pop, and r&b. I also enjoy singing, writing music and playing the drums. My teaching style can best be described as optimistic and professional. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I love to challenge and encourage my students. In my lessons, you can expect to learn valuable skills such as scales, vocal exercises and techniques, and rhythm. I like to tell my students to give their best effort and the rest will come. My favorite thing about teaching is learning each person’s style. My favorite performance was when I performed Mozart Requiem with the Mobile Symphony Orchestra and Coastal Alabama Chamber Singers. My students love that I am open minded. I primarily teach vocals, but I can also teach drums. My approach as a teacher is to listen to my student and follow their lead.
