In my beginner bass guitar lessons, students will learn the essential techniques needed to build a solid foundation on the instrument. We’ll focus on proper hand positioning, fingerstyle and pick playing, basic grooves, and fundamental rhythm skills. Lessons will also introduce key concepts in music theory relevant to bass, such as scales, note recognition, and understanding the role of the bass in various musical styles. The goal is to develop strong timing, tone, and confidence, enabling students to play along with songs and grow as versatile bassists.

In my beginner to intermediate guitar lessons, students can expect a structured yet flexible approach tailored to their individual goals. We’ll cover the fundamentals of guitar technique, including proper hand positioning, chord shapes, strumming patterns, and picking exercises. As students progress, we’ll explore scales, music theory, and fretboard navigation to build a strong foundation for songwriting, improvisation, or playing their favorite songs. Lessons also incorporate ear training and rhythm development, with a focus on building confidence, creativity, and long-term playing ability in a supportive, encouraging environment.

In my record engineering and producing lessons, students will progress from foundational concepts to advanced techniques in music production. Early sessions cover digital audio workstation (DAW) operation, recording fundamentals, microphone placement, and signal flow. As students advance, we dive into mixing, audio editing, effects processing, and mastering, emphasizing creative decision-making and technical precision. Lessons also explore arrangement, sound design, and workflow optimization to develop a professional-quality production skill set. Throughout, students will gain hands-on experience, critical listening skills, and the ability to bring their artistic vision to life with industry-standard tools and practices
