About Me

I have been playing music for fourteen years. I can play a variety of instruments including: electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, violin, contrabass, cello, viola, recorder, piano, keyboard, and drums. I am very skilled at all of them. I was enrolled in stringed instrument classes for four years where I became very proficient with music theory. After high school I joined a performing rock band in Monroe, La called "Passing Through". We played many shows across North Louisiana including shows at the venue "Tsunami" in Monroe and "Mia's Pub" in Shreveport. I have gained much musical experience throughout my life so far and would very much enjoy passing the knowledge that I have gained so that someone with the proper ambition can have those same positive experiences. I have never taken lessons for guitar. I have played guitar for eight years and have taught myself everything including advanced techniques including arpeggios and artificial harmonics. I have taught guitar before, but for free, to a few children, their older siblings, and their parents in my community.

3 years of high school at Huntington High School in Shreveport, LA., I attained my GED at Louisiana Technical College in Shreveport, La and 4 years experience in stringed instrument classes (orchestra).

Performing Experience:

I played in "Passing Through" for one year six months. We played many shows at various venues across North Louisiana.

Experience Teaching:

I taught a few children, their older siblings, and their parents in my community for free. They actually advanced quickly.
