My name is Anthony, and I've been actively involved in performing music since I was 10, although my love for music — namely Classical and Jazz — goes back as far as I can remember. As a child, for example, I absolutely loved the music of one of my lifelong favorite cartoons, Tom & Jerry, a show I still marvel at in moments of nostalgia. At age 10, I joined my school band, playing the tuba, bass, and other instruments of the low brass section. In doing so, I realized that I not only had an ear for music, but that I was genuinely talented. My musical abilities broadened even further when I joined my school choir at age 11. By the time I was in high school, I was balancing private lessons for tuba, singing SATB in my adult church choir, and learning jazz theory — which I used to teach myself how to write for choral groups and even orchestra. Today, I consider myself a true master of singing and songwriting, although I've been working in other jobs for sustainability. Anyone considering me for private lessons should know that I love all kinds of genres, but my specialty lies in Classical music and Jazz. That said, I’m absolutely open to helping students with Alternative Rock and Pop as well. If you love music, then I'm the tutor for you!
