About Me

Hi, my name is AnnaMarie and I am from Arkadelphia, Arkansas. I have been a student of music for 5 years. My musical influences include country, pop, annd musical theatre and I also enjoy baking and reading. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I work hard to understand what my student wants to learn and to understand what their voices can do and help to grow that. In my lessons, you can expect to learn breathing techniques and how to use the voice more effectively. I like to tell my students use your own voice don’t try to be like everyone else your voice is unique. My favorite thing about teaching is that moment when a student gets something for the first time and you can see their face light up. My favorite performance was playing Beth in Little Women the Musical. My students love that I am very encouraging. I primarily teach Mysical theater, but I can also teach other styles of music. My approach as a teacher is to incorporate techniques into songs that the student wants to learn and work on building a good relationship with my students. Thanks for taking a look at my profile.
