Hi, my name is Joseph and I am a musical theatre and opera singer from Los Angeles. I have been a student of music for 7 years. My musical influences include Frank Sinatra and I also enjoy Jeramy Jordan. My teaching style can best be described as hands on and learn by doing. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I will teach, explain, demonstrate, and explain again as many times as needed In my lessons, you can expect to learn basic singing techniques, music theory, performance skills, audition skills, helpful and healthy singing tips. I like to tell my students don’t be afraid to fail. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing students improve and progress over time. My favorite performance was singing in Chicago for my choir. My students love that I am collaborative and attentive during lessons. As I primarily teach classical vocals and musical theatre vocals, I can also teach technique to use for every genre of singing.
