I’m a self taught musician. Learned from playing live music full time for 40 years. I developed an understanding of music theory in high school Choir. After being a studio musician and live performer. I became interested in teaching musicians how to advance not only on their instruments but the roll and function in a band setting. There are many levels of stages in learning music. How to play your instrument is just the beginning. How to communicate with other musicians and the space of the other instruments in song structure is also a learning point. Identifying what kind of student you are and focusing on the desired goals is how I teach you how to advance milestones. I enjoy teaching. Everybody learns differently. There is no one way of teaching that fits every student.
