Hi, my name is Anthony and I am a guitarist living in Shreveport, LA. I have been a student of music for many years, and am currently a student of Berklee College of Music where I studied under Joe Stump if you like fast euro-metal, he's worth listening to. My musical influences include Stevie Ray Vaughn, Muddy Waters, Pantera, Plini, and Dream Theater, and I also enjoy jazz fusion and some country. My teaching style can best be described as hands on. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I identify my student's goals and strive to achieve it. In my lessons, you can expect to learn anything from classic rock to metal to jazz to music theory. I like to tell my students if they want to learn something that I'm not familiar with, I will learn it too. My favorite thing about teaching is that more often than not, I learn from my students too, but mostly I enjoy seeing them succeed and perform it feeds my ego too!. My favorite performance was Steve Vai's Tender Surrender in 2011 the first one that comes up on a Youtube search. I primarily teach guitar, but I can also teach bass guitar and beginner drums, as well as some intermediate music theory/harmony analysis.
