Hi.I have 13 years experience teaching guitar lessons. For most students,I initially focus on chords and how to play their favorite songs and then add theory,scales,the modal system and improvisation. If you are a more experienced player and looking to learn the modal system for playing lead guitar & improvisation,I will show you how to improvise over the entire fret board & how to apply modes to your favorite songs as well as original songs. I teach all ages and have worked with students aged 5-75+ years old. My goal is to make learning guitar as easy and fun as possible and I will tailor the lessons to cater to the musical interests of each student to ensure they start playing their favorite songs as quickly as possible. In essence,my teaching method is to teach guitar as I would have liked to have been taught guitar.
