Adam began playing guitar at the age of 9. Over the years, he developed his skills further by attending Pellissippi State’s music program, attending online classes at Berklee College of Music, playing in various bands, and supporting himself financially with music for several years. He gained performance experience in the Knoxville area by playing at such venues as Scruffy City Hall, The Grove Theatre, Barley’s, various marinas and boat docks, and with acts such as The Marmalades, Rock Love, Indigo Goe, and The Love Giants. Though Adam can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are blues, neo soul, and classic rock which had great influence on his style of playing. Adam loves music because it is the most universal form of expression and loves teaching music because it provides him with an opportunity to share the gifts that God has given him with others.
