Montavious has always loved music from an early age. He began playing tuba and other brass instruments at the age of 10 years and continued his education by attending Tennessee’s state university His musical influences include the many instructor who guided down the path of music. Montavious's favorite thing about music is its ability to connect everyone no matter the background and his favorite thing about teaching music is sharing my love and passion for music so someone else may gain the same love I have for music. One of his favorite teaching experiences was teaching and founding a help group in Clayton county to help the tubas spread and gain knowledge to raise our musicality as a district. Thats my favorite moment because so many people benefited and it even surpassed my expectations and lead to all of the members getting full ride scholarships with the development and connections they gained from the group.When taking lessons with Montavious you can expect compassion and dedication to you and everything you can be.
