Shelby has always loved music from an early age. She began singing at the age of 13 and continued her education by attending New Orleans Center for Creative Arts for Musical Theater. Currently, she is a Victory Belle at the National World War II Museum, where she performs hits from the 1940s. During her free time, she also likes to perform in musicals in the Baton Rouge area. Shelby's favorite thing about music is it allows freedom of expression. Her favorite thing about teaching voice is watching students come out of their shells and grow into dazzling singers. When taking lessons with Shelby, you can expect to make you feel comfortable and free to make mistakes. It's all part of the learning process!
