About Me
Drumming since age 8, behind the kit, I bring a strong sense of pulse, rock-solid fills and a great ear for arranging. My musical style and experiences range from Country to Thrash Metal and everything in-between. I look forward to being able to instruct my students in a way that best benefits them and their musical goals. If that's just learning the fundamentals of the instrument or being able to perform a particular piece of music, I want to tailor each individual student's lesson plan to align with their specific musical goals and ambitions, all the while making it fun to learn. I hope to share my love of music with the world.
James P has over 28 Years years of music experience in the Glendale area.
James P is proficient in and teaches Drum Lessons .Formal Education:
Member of the Symphonic and Concert Band from 6th grade through 9th grade. First chair throughout.
Private Education:
I have had private lessons from Eric Stuer (Dallas, TX) and Greg Bissonette (Los Angeles, CA).
Performing Experience:
I have been in a number of local bands, in both Dallas, TX and Phoenix, AZ. Was a member of the house band for the weekly Carrollton Country Opry Show in Carrollton, TX from 1996-1998. Also have performed with various recording artists, such as Lee Ann Rimes and Marty Friedman from Megadeth. I am currently a member of Between Spaces, a local Phoenix band.
