Hi, my name is Jacob and I am a musician from RI. I have been a student of music for 14 years. My musical influences include 80's guitarists and I also enjoy every other genre. My teaching style can best be described as hands on and showing by example. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I use whatever teaching style it takes to teach the student. In my lessons, you can expect to learn not just what you're playing but also why and how it works. I like to tell my students anyone can do it. My favorite thing about teaching is my patience with all my students. My favorite performance was my senior recital. My students love that I take my time with them. I primarily teach guitar, but I can also teach almost anything else you want. My approach as a teacher is to make sure technique is learned first. Thanks for taking a look at my profile.
