I’ve been studying piano for over 16 years and recently graduated from the University of Maryland with a minor in Piano Performance. Over the years, I’ve performed in countless solo recitals, accompanied choirs and instrumentalists for university juries, and even played with the University’s Gamer Symphony Orchestra. I also gained recognition as a finalist in the Maryland School of Music Concerto Competition. As a pianist, I’m especially strong in sight-reading, classical repertoire, and learning music quickly, and I love collaborating with other musicians. While I’m newer to formal teaching, I have experience tutoring K–12 and college-level students in academic subjects, so I know how to explain concepts clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and encourage steady progress. Most importantly, I’m passionate about helping students discover their own relationship to music and develop the skills to express themselves at the piano.
