Hi, my name is Celia! I'm a music teacher from Baltimore, MD. I've been an elementary music teacher for nine years, and received my bachelor's degree in vocal performance.. My teaching style can best be described as direct and collaborative. In my lessons, you can expect to learn about proper breathing technique and control, appropriate diction for vowels and consonants, improved tone quality, how to safely expand your range, and build confidence in yourself as a singer. My favorite thing about teaching is working closely with students to provide personalized instruction, and seeing the joy on their faces when their voices soar to new heights! My students love that I bring a positive attitude, sincerity, and humor to my lessons. While I teach elementary school music, I enjoy working with students of all ages! My approach as a teacher is not only to collaborate with my students on how to best serve their needs, but also to provide constructive and actionable feedback that helps them grow as musicians and singers.
