About Me

My name is Armando Chairez, I have been involved in music for 6+ years perusing music education. When I moved to Arizona, I changed my major but always intended on going back to music. I got lost along the way, working in restaurants and restaurants management roles. While I have gained a lot of knowledge and leadership experience from that, I have decided I finally want to go back to my love for music and finish my degree with a focus on music performance. I'm very excited about this position because I have a deep passion for instruments and music performance. I think I'd be a great fit for your team as I am currently enrolled in at mesa community college for a Bachelor's degree in music with a minor in music education and specialized tuba ensemble performance expecting to Transfer to ASU to finish my degree. I've been a music performer with Riverside City College, a well esteemed music school and program in California known for world renowned performances. I have marched 2 years with Pacific Crest World Class drum corps where I played contra tuba and baritone. In this career, I hope to accomplish great things and inspire minds to pursue the same passion I have found. I can think I would make a great addition to the company, helping minds learn to understand the complexity of their instruments while also learning to dial in on my own teaching style for specific instruments that I love and I hope it can excel my career as a musician as well. I'm a driven person who is passionate about playing low brass instruments. Due to my skills and growing experience.
