Chris began playing guitar and writing songs at the age of 16. Over the years, he developed his skills further by attending Berklee College of Music for their Songwriting program. He gained performance experience in the Northern Virginia area by playing at such venues as The Black Cat and with by busking at local coffee shops, restaurants, and farmers markets. Though Chris can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are blues, rock, indie, funk, reggae, and country, which had great influence on his style of playing. Chris loves music because of the feeling when creating a new song or guitar lick that expresses exactly how you feel and loves teaching music because he gets to share what he has learned about creating music on the guitar and through original songs. Whether you are a beginner or want to improve your guitar and songwriting skills, Chris can help you expand and enhance your playing.
