Brissa has always loved music from an early age. She began singing at the age of 7 and continued her music education all the way to high school. Her musical influences are Lea Salonga and Jessye Norman. Brissa's favorite thing about music is the story telling and her favorite thing about teaching music is being able to teach students how to perform and have fun. One of her favorite teaching experiences was during a summer camp with the Houston Grand Opera. Even though the students had no singing experience, we were able to make beautiful music.
