Brissa has always loved music from an early age. She began singing at the age of 7 and continued her music education all the way to high school. Her musical influences are Lea Salonga and Jessye Norman. Brissa's favorite thing about music is the story telling and her favorite thing about teaching music is being able to teach students how to perform and have fun. One of her favorite teaching experiences was during a summer camp with the Houston Grand Opera. Even though the students had no singing experience, we were able to make beautiful music. When taking lessons with Brissa, you can expect to work on fun music and learn how to sing healthily. What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Students will have the opportunity to find songs that are right for them and fun interactive exercises to help build healthy singing habits. Students will also learn basic theory to help build their musicianship.

4 years with the Texas State University Opera 2024 Barcelona Festival of Song Summers of 2024 and 2025, I worked as an instructor with the Houston Grand Opera
