Hello! My name is Evelyn but most call me Eddie and I’m a music student born and raised in Wayne, Pa! I have been singing since the age of four in church and school choirs, and started studying Bel Canto at the age of 12. I used to teach private voice in High School to elementary-aged kids, but have been working with high schoolers in my college town for the past two years. I have years of experience of working in theater and opera, having done multiple intensives and masterclasses with world renowned opera singers. For most of my working life I have been working in and around the arts, as I used to be a music librarian and a stagehand and usher. I primarily teach beginner classical and musical theater, but also have taught pop/jazz styles as well. I really enjoy working on combining healthy mixed voice with emotive musical theatre acting with students! Some of my favorite musicians/artists are Sumi Jo, Miles Davis, Sade, Kelli O’Hara, Beyoncé.
