Lenora Mathis Artist Bio Singer, songwriter, and vocal producer. Lenora Michelle Mathis is an artist that empowers and re-interprets what true inspiration means through music, and through Godly influence, she makes sure all listeners are impacted and encouraged! Her incredible musical journey began at age 9 at her father’s church, where she developed a very keen and unique musical gift. Her singing became powerful as she got older persuading her father to make her minister of music at their church at an early age and at that same time, she started a gospel group with her sister, called Vision 2, and they started taking the stages by storm! They shared stages with AWESOME gospel artists such as, the Clark Sisters, Trinity 5-7, and many more. As time progressed she begin to grow vocally, and having never released an album with her sister, she began to venture out solo. She explored different types of genres of music, particularly soul, which later she joined a music based non-profit organization called, Heal the Hood Foundation of Memphis, where she experienced a bigger and broader audience. Lenora shared the stage with lots of well-known artists; Master P, Romeo, K Michelle, Symphonique, Vivica Fox, OMG Girls, TANK, The Barkays, Jacob Latimore, Drumma Boy, John P Key and Lil Peanut from the hit Nickelodeon show, Haunted Hathaway’s. She’s featured on HTH of Memphis album and helped vocally produce on the album as well and also has worked with some very talented producers, such as, Grammy nominated producer Kurt Clayton and super producer, Johnathan Davenport, which produced on Raheem DeVaughn’s album, rapper Plies, The Barkays, rapper Trina, John P Key and many more. This path has paved the way for Lenora to become a vocal coach and a music director for other artists and has inspired her to pursue her music full force. She has impacted this generation already with an inspirational message God she has sustained through music and will continue to inspire, empower and encourage everywhere her Faith and her voice takes her.
