James has always loved music from an early age. He began singing at the age of 14 and continued his education by studying music education for two years at DSC. His musical influences include a lot of musical theater as well as Gabriel Faure. James's favorite thing about music is the connection it can bring to others and his favorite thing about teaching music is the outcome of when someone learns from him. One of his favorite teaching experiences was at Port Orange elementary where I volunteered for almost 100 hours helping a Pre K class.
