Hello. My name is Matthew. I have been into music from a very young age. My dad introduced me early on to lots of material which helped to set the stage for beginning to play guitar at 13. I like to play many different styles of music but when playing guitar and singing I like to go for a melodic/hard rock sound which I also combine with electronic dance music for a unique blend. I can help anyone that is getting started or wanting to hone in their craft with playing guitar, singing or wanting to know how to record, edit, produce and sound design on the computer. I like to teach that music is more about the passion and feeling along with some proper knowledge on theory. Needing to know how to read music is not necessary and many other avenues which can distract and confuse the artist with unnecessary steps in order to create great art. I like to cut out a lot of that fluff and get down to what it's really all about rather than get lost in terms and discussing music. It's about creating it and figuring out the different combinations through playing different melodies. I like to go about it in a fun and spontaneous way and not so much as some kind of rigid system.
