Allow me to introduce myself! I am Ms., a professional pianist who loves to teach and help students! I am originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. But, I moved down South to the Clemson, South Carolina area years ago. I continued my education in the upstate area at Lander University, and I was very involved in student life. After obtaining my bachelor's degree, I deckded to stay in South Carolina to persue a career in education, advising, and business. I also thought it would be a great idea to share my love for music and piano with students. Hence, why I am a piano teacher! : During my free time, I love playing pianosurprise, surprise!, reading, running/working out, and spending time with fur babies! In college, I was a member of Jazz Band and Piano Ensemble as a pianist. Being involved made me realize that leadership and sharing my love for music is something I hope to continue to do with people wherever I go! Prior to this job, I attended as well as worked with Furman and Lander University in the Trio-Student Support Services building helping low-income, disabled, and minority students. I would help them navigate who they needed to talk to about their college career goals, and where they needed to be in the future! Working at that job made my desire to work with students and help them achieve their goals stronger! Shedding light on my musical background, I am at an advanced level for piano. I can also teach up to Intermediate to Advanced level. Music theory, ear training, and sight reading are just a few things that I incorporate into my lesson plans. I take my students' progress very serious! With that being said, each student or families will be given a schedule and outlook of what to expect over the course of 3-4 months. My goal is to always be a guide, mentor, and teacher to my students! I also hope to have them grow and get better at their skill of piano, music theory, or writer's composition, and also ENJOY and LOVE being a musician.
