I started playing guitar at age 6. Took lessons from Dick Feller who did the sound track to Smokey and the Bandit. Dick was very good with teaching young adults and made every lesson fun. As a teen, I studied under a jazz legend - Norman Cole. He taught me a non-egotistical approach to becoming a musician. He took my playing to a whole different level. As great as he was, he showed me that the guitar is something that you can never perfect in your lifetime. There is always something new to learn. I took what they taught me and applied it to original music that I wrote.
