I'm Jim and I am a jazz trained guitarist that loves all styles of music, particularly 1920s through 60s jazz, rockabilly, country and western, and jump blues. I have been playing guitar for over 35 years and have taught both private lessons, in music stores, and group lessons in programs in public schools. My hope is to share my love of music and music theory with students as they embark on a life long journey of playing, performing, learning, and growing with what I humbly believe is the most powerful artistic force we know: music.
