Hello! My name is Jessica Ruby, I currently live in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I love the rich history of music and art in the area! They have both always been a huge part of my life! I am 28, living with my two cats-Rory and Amy, as well as my Fiancé-Alexander. I love being around people of all ages. Everyone has so much potential within them, and I would love the opportunity to help them find it and grow!

What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
We will dive into the fundamentals of music, learning important topics such as basic music theory, taking care of your voice, performance and stage presence, building confidence, and more.
Formal Education:
I have studied at North Idaho College as well as Seminole State College
Private Education:
Marsha Schlangen's Studio-Voice Works CYT Spokane Small local groups between Washington, and Florida.
Performing Experience:
I have had great experience in performing with local theaters, most of which were Musical Theater opportunities. Starring in Shrek the Musical as Fiona, and The Wardrobe in Beauty and the Beast, being two of my favorites. While in College I had the opportunity to perform with my choir in Carnegie Hall! Including the dabbling of solos in showcases and Juries throughout High school and College I am no stranger to the stage, and the skills needed to be there comfortably. Currently, I perform with Chattanooga Dance Theater, while it is Dance, musicality and stage presence are big focuses.
Experience Teaching:
During my time in Florida at Seminole State College, I taught ages 8-12. While it was not music, getting the opportunity to show them how to build skills in performance, self confidence, and teamwork was a highlight of mine. I also had opportunities to step in as a lead during my voice classes, learning how to share the space and guide with optimism, and most importantly, having fun.
