Hi! My name is Rob. I have been a professional musician since I was 16 years old and I have enjoyed a wonderful career as a musician. I think music education is a critical aspect of a person's development as a musician, and I have a Bachelors degree in Jazz Studies from Auburn University and a Masters degree in Music from the University of Central Florida. But knowledge must be put to use to be meaningful and I have fortunately had a wealth of experience in all types of professional musical settings. I have experience in many styles and genres of music and music technology and have spent many years touring and working with many prominent artists such as guitar legend Eric Johnson, Hank Williams Jr., Kenny Chesney, and many others. I have also worked as a studio musician on major national ad campaigns with producers such as Tom Faulkner, who is famous for his Chili's Baby Back Ribs jingle. My technical experience includes 17 years spent working as the primary music arranger and Electronic Arts Director at a large megachurch in Orlando. For the last several years I have been an instructor at Los Angeles Film School where I taught Music Production Technology on Apple's Logic Pro platform. Music has given me more joy than I could possibly express, and that is why I love to teach-to hopefully impart some of that joy to you! If you're a beginner you'll find me to be quite patient, and if you are experienced you'll find me quite knowledgeable and willing to share what I've learned.
