Hi, my name is Ethan and I am a woodwind player from Utah. I have been a student of music for 13 years. My musical influences include Emmet Cohen and Patrick Bartley in the jazz world, and Emmanuel Pahud and Jean-Pierre Rampal in the classical world. My teaching style can best be described as student driven. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I learn my students goals, then base the lessons off of what they want to achieve. In my lessons, you can expect to learn the fundamentals of the instrument, and whatever you want to play! I have the most experience teaching classical repertoire and jazz big band playing.
