Hi! I’m Rita and I’ve been teaching piano since 1994. I started playing at age 8 and over the course of my life, I have done numerous jobs as an accompanist and played for several weddings. I primarily teach from Alfred’s piano methods but have also taught from curriculums that students have started with previous teachers. I am a fan of classical piano literature and try to incorporate that into students’ repertoires. I also enjoy helping students find level appropriate sheet music for songs of their choosing. I have worked with children both as a piano instructor and classroom teacher and parents tell me frequently how much their children like working with me. I also have taught teens and adults. I am comfortable working with beginners through intermediate level students.
