Hey there! My name is Ashton Brett born October 26th, 1995. I’m an award winning guitarist and singer/songwriter from the beautiful hills of southeastern Kentucky. I’m also the music instructor at two school campuses and for the last three years I’ve toured extensively as the guitarist for Sony recording artist and Billboard #1 charting country singer, Dustin Collins. I first began playing guitar when I was 16 years old. After finishing high school, I attended the Kentucky School of Bluegrass and Traditional Music in Hyden, Ky, where I studied under Bobby Osborne of the Grand Ole Opry and Osborne Brothers, graduated with honors, and later transferred to Morehead State University to further my education and finish a bachelor’s degree. I’m now earning my Master of Arts in Music Education. It was during my time at HCTC’s Kentucky School of Bluegrass and Traditional Music that I began playing music professionally, touring as a freelance guitarist, accepted my first teaching position, and released my first two singles as a solo artist. Both singles quickly picked up for radio airplay in Ireland, Brazil, the United States, Canada, and the Netherlands, and charted on multiple charts across the world for most radio digital downloads.
