Marthea began singing at the age of 10. Over the years, she developed her skills further by attending church choir and high school of the arts as a vocal major. She gained performance experience in the entertainment industry by playing at such venues as lalpalooza, lady of soul awards,soul train, bet awards, tours, various videos and with acts such as Sisqo, Dru hill, Neyo and Lovher. Though Marthea can teach many different genres of music, her musical personal favorites are r&b,pop,classical and jazz which had great influence on her style of playing.Marthea loves music because ive been singing all my life and loves teaching music because its fufilling to see others get enjoyment from music as I do.
