About Me

I'm a passionate guitarist, who's been playing 25 years. I personally mainly play jazz guitar, but am also very well versed in playing as well as listening to many other styles of music as well. I've taught many students over the years of ages ranging from 5 years old to 75 years old, and I pride my lessons on the ability to provide students with high quality music education that offers a ton of helpful detail, knowledge, and truly helpful and practical methodology to help actually make sure students learn proper things to do, to help ensure real progress on their, instrument, as well as striving to keep the learning related to the actual music that they truly enjoy, or would like to discover. I am a big proponent of helping the students realize what music it is that really interests them, and using that to help the students engaged and feeling motivated to want to learn and get better. In addition I also believe in combining this with traditional fundamentals, music theory basics, and incorporating traditionally important methods and concepts to ensure that the student can propel forward.
