He began playing trumpet at the age of 11 and continued his education by studying Music Business and Cybersecurity at Northwestern State University of Louisiana while performing with ensembles of all kinds. His musical influences include Rachmaninoff, Pacho Flores, and a wide range of jazz, Latin, and classical artists. Juan G’s favorite thing about music is its ability to connect people and tell stories beyond words, and his favorite thing about teaching music is inspiring students to grow in both confidence and creativity. One of his favorite teaching experiences was giving masterclasses for young musicians in Colombia, where he helped students discover their passion for playing and performing.
