About Me

Hi, my name is Mikaela and I am a singer and performer. I have been a student of music for 13 years. My teaching style can best be described as gentle, caring, and hardworking. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I have fun, work hard, and push for improvement. In my lessons, you can expect to learn proper technique and have fun and the same time. I like to tell my students to sing loud and proud, even if you’re off key, we can always work on that. My favorite thing about teaching is *****. My favorite performance was staring in Broadway’s Annie Get Your Gun, as a senior in high school. My students love that I laugh and work hard. Having fun is an important part of creating an environment that fosters learning. I primarily teach vocal lessons and performance confidence, but I can also teach basic piano and clarinet lessons. My approach as a teacher is to push the limits, if you think you CAN’T do something, you absolutely can and we’ll accomplish that together. Thanks for taking a look at my profile.
