I have been teaching for about 9 years in Nevada and Illinois. I am an active pianist, teacher, and performer in Las Vegas. I have participated and still actively involved in accompanying instrumentalists, performing gigs, and play for orchestras and band as well. During my collegiate years, I have received my bachelor’s degree in music performance for classical piano and minor studies in Harpsichord at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and my masters degree at University of Nevada Las Vegas in music performance for classical piano as well. As a piano teacher, my teaching philosophy focuses on the student’s needs, wants, goals, and entertainment. My lesson plan and style are tailored to the students. At the same time, I implement music theory, pedagogy, techniques, and history into lessons while inspiring and demonstrating the genuine satisfaction of learning music and how to play on an instrument. It is the amount of experience, time, study, and efforts that has brought me continuous motivation in teaching piano and all of music.
