Hi, my name is Hector and I am a singer from San Antonio. I have been a student of music for 20years. My musical influences include Mozart and I also enjoy U2. My teaching style can best be described as technical and strict, but fun. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I believe anyone can sing, they only need to have a willing spirit and ready to try new things. In my lessons, you can expect to learn vocal technique, repetoirsongs, vocal health, and more. I like to tell my students theres no such thing as bad singing, there is such thing as bad attitudes. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing my students find success in their goals. My favorite performance was seeing my first opera, it is what brought my into studying music full time. My students love that I teach with kindness and humor, but also honesty and stern feedback. I primarily teach voice, but I can also teach piano. My approach as a teacher is to prioritize good technique and habits, while leading the lesson with affirmations of positive mindsets and attitudes. Thanks for taking a look at my profile.
