My name is Emily. I am a professional pianist and accompanist. I have been playing the piano since the age of 5 years. I studied with concert pianists Vjrginia Burkhart at the Fine Arts Studio in Chicago Illinois. I also studied with Barbara Tiao of the Sherwood Conservatory of Music in Chicago. I have my masters in music in piano performance and pedagogy from Northeastern Illinois University. I studied with Inna Faliks and Mikhail Yanovitsky. I also have my Music Education Certificate from Northeastern Illinois with a K-12 Music Endorsement. I have a BA in music from Roosevelt University College of Performing Arts with a major in piano performance/ pedagogy. I received multiple piano scholarships from both universities. I have performed piano solo in St. Petersburg Russia as well as Gstaad Switzerland. I have performed in many recitals in Chicago as well as Chicago land area. I love to teach piano and voice lessons. I teach all ages/ levels for piano with focusing on technique, piano repertoire, theory, composition as well as different genres of music designed for each student. I teach voice lesson for beginners to late intermediate with focusing on different styles and good technique.
