She began playing piano and singing at the age of 7 and continued her education by taking lessons all throughout her school years and continued into college. Her musical influences include genres such as classical, broadway, rock/alternative, and pop. Briana's favorite thing about music is that it's universal. It crosses cultures, languages, and generations. And her favorite thing about teaching music is getting to share and teach something that everyone can relate to in their own way because it's so universal. One of her favorite teaching experiences was getting to instruct a recent high school graduate who was wanting to audition for the school of music at the same college she attended.
