Anastasiya has always loved music from an early age. She began playing piano and singing at the age of 7 and continued her education at Charleston Southern University, where she studies music and worship leadership. Her musical influences include musicals such as Les Misérables, Wicked, Hamilton, and The Sound of Music, along with artists like Laufey and UPPERROOM, whose music inspires her with its creativity, storytelling, and emotional depth. Anastasiya’s favorite thing about music is its ability to connect people, tell stories, and express emotions that words alone can’t capture. Her favorite thing about teaching music is building relationships with young people, mentoring them, and guiding them to become better people, better musicians, and to understand the basics of music. One of her favorite teaching experiences was helping students fall in love with music and singing for the first time, watching them grow in confidence and joy.
