Joshua Y.

Joshua is a graduate of Houston Christian University with a Bachelor's in Vocal Performance, but began his musical journey by taking private lessons much like he's now teaching. While his training was focused on the classical and operatic spheres, he has a healthy background in musical theatre, which he participated in from youth, and continues to engage in communal theatre every year. Some groups he's performed with include Class Act Productions, The Players Theatre Company, Christian Community Theater, and Christian Youth Theater. In the classical realm he has been a part of numerous choral ensembles such as the West University Baptist Church Sanctuary Choir, the Houston Choral Society, and his alma mater's flagship choir Schola Cantorum. Joshua is grateful for the opportunity to develop his skills as an instructor and thanks each and every student for their willingness to learn.
