Melissa D.

I’ve been teaching piano and music for over 20 years, and I truly love helping students grow their skills and confidence. I studied Piano Performance at Texas Tech University, and along the way I discovered a passion for not only teaching piano, but also for vocal coaching and directing kids’ musical theater. Over the years, I’ve worked with students of all ages—whether just beginning their musical journey, preparing for auditions, or exploring musical theater. Most recently, I served as Music Director for The Naples Players kids’ summer program (2024), where I had the joy of guiding young performers in both piano and voice while bringing their stage productions to life. My approach is supportive, encouraging, and tailored to each student. I believe in blending solid technique with creativity and fun so that every student not only learns music, but also builds a lifelong love for it.
