About Me

Hi, my name is Nicholas and I absolutely love music! I am a fourth generation musician in my family, and I have been performing live music since I was seven years old. I’m currently 22 years old now, and I play music live with an eight piece band All over Oklahoma! We’ve been doing that professionally for about three years now. I hope to be considered in the music tutoring program! I know that I can teach my skills and I am very confident that I am the right person for the job

Formal Education:

I am an alumni at, And my focus was vocal performance, songwriting seminars, a cappella class, Studio one and two, and some music theory (minimal)

Private Education:

In middle school, I had joined COCDA and was a participant from 7th to 8th grade. In addition, my Junior and senior year in high school, I was accepted into Oklahoma’s Allstate choir as tenor 1. A few years later at Contemporary music college, I was taught by numerous instructors Including Joe Gilligan And Than Medlam. Joe was able to show me how to construct Setlist for live performances, as well as learning how to blend songs into one another to create a nonstop show. Than taught me numerous vocal techniques, and pushed me out of my genre comfort zone with jazz and contemporary rock.

Performing Experience:

I am 22 years old and out of those years about 10 of them I have been performing live music. Before I took on a more professional music career, I performed two years in a row at Oklahoma’s Allstate choir concert. I have since then performed at the UCO jazz Lab, the blue note, the diamond ballroom in which my band and I opened for the dirty loops, hard rock casino in Tulsa, ACM at UCO, The Hamilton, the red piano at the Skirvin, and recently at the festival Heard on Hurd in Edmond Oklahoma!!

Experience Teaching:

To be honest and transparent, this will be my first time teaching students one on one. However in middle school through college, I would often be selected by teachers as well as fellow classmates to help others understand the subject matter more easily.
