Kat has always loved music from an early age. She began playing drums at the age of 11 and continued her education by. Her musical influences include The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix and other psych-rock/ classic rock, artists, as well as. KAT's favorite thing about music is how it connects people and her favorite thing about teaching music is spreading her love for it across the world. One of her favorite teaching experiences was starting the new Lee College drumline and teaching her classmates how to play the drums. When taking lessons with KAT you can expect, positive reinforcement, taking time to understand students and different learning speeds, and making sure every student has the support they need throughout their journey.
