I received my Bachelor of Music in Commercial Music Voice with a Concentration in Music Business Honors from Belmont University. I tutor Music Theory, Aural Skills, Voice, and String Bass. I have 10 years of experience working with students ages 6-22, and also worked directly with children ages 3-11 for over a decade, performing live music shows and running literacy programs at local libraries with my mom. When I work with students, I always begin with the indivdual. I strive to help students personally connect the concepts we explore to the music they love. My goal is to help students maintain their joy for music and find their voice as they realize their goals! In my spare time, I love to write and compose my own songs, listen to my massive CD collection nearing 900 CDs!, go thrifting, go swimming, take a walk in nature, explore the zoo, read through the massive stack of books I want to read on my shelf, journal out on my balcony, do genealogy, play video games with friends, and work on cooking and baking new recipes!
