Hi, my name is Noah! I'm a musician of 8 years, a student of music composition, and the Choir Director at Norkenzie Christian Church. I teach guitar and piano, and have experience with genres such as classical, jazz, pop, blues, rock, metal, hymns, and worship music. Aside from playing, I can also teach music theory, composition, and improvisation. I currently do not have a car so will evaluate if I can travel to students on a case by case basis. My approach to teaching music is that I believe experience is the most effective way to train musicianship, so I will encourage my students to play often. However, I have a strong emphasis on fundamentals, because if these are not correct habits can form which can be uneconomic and even harmful. If a boat is attempting to sail true north, but it is directed even 1 degree east, after 500 miles it's going to be very off course, even if the change in direction seemed negligible at the start. I wish you the best and thank you for taking the time to consider me!
