Hi, my name is Alexis and I am a music education major from Jacksonville, FL. I have been a student of music for my entire education career. My musical influences include classical artists and I also enjoy musical theater. My teaching style can best be described as fun and willing to meet students where they are at with their singing. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I care for my students and want them to succeed. In my lessons, you can expect to learn new vocal techniques. I like to tell my students that practice makes progress. My favorite thing about teaching is sharing my love of music with others. My favorite performance was Beethoven's 9th Symphony. My students love that I am very fun and energetic. I primarily teach voice, but I can also teach beginner piano.
