I’ve been around music and music teaching for as long as I can remember. I’ve been teaching music for two years now and it’s been very fulfilling. Outside of work I toured with a couple bands playing guitar, bass and, drums as needed and have been doing so since around 2019. My strong suit as a music teacher I believe has been keeping a student engaged and enjoying playing music. I’ve done this by peaking their interests and things they like, looping that in to what we may be working on so that they don’t loathe coming to lessons. My mom was also a professional vocal instructor and music teacher for 12 years so her insight is also very helpful.
