Lynea began playing piano at the age of six. Over the years, she developed her skills further by taking on other instruments like voice and guitar. At the age of twenty-two, she enrolled in UMHB's college of music where she earned her music education and pedagogy degree. Though Lynea can teach many different genres, her personal favorites are pop and showtunes which have had great influence on her styles. More recently, she's been getting into video game music and contemporary pieces. Hymns and worship music also hold a special place in her life. Lynea loves music because it's like her own form of therapy and loves teaching because students make her so proud when they meet their own goals.
