Hello, I'm Kaya. I'm 22, and self taught. Started playing about eight years ago, and I have always had a deep connection to music. I started taking it seriously about two years ago, and "gave in" to my dreams.. Now, I have an album out, and a new YouTube channel with lots of guitar content. There, you can see what I do, and how I play. I have taught friends and family on different levels of depth, and am working on a learning path for guitar+music ing general that will fast-track learning. Beginner -
For beginners, I will start by first getting them comfortable with the instrument in their hand, and teaching them a riff from their favorite song to instill a bit of confidence, and drive. My first component for learning guitar includes learning the main open chords: E and A major and minor, later the rest. From the beginning I will emphasize the basic techniques that make the guitar playable, as opposed to an instrument of pain or frustration.
